Goals necessary to achieve the mission are as follows:
The Kings will pursue victory by seeking the kingdom of God first.
The Kings will encourage teammates and themselves, to be the best they can be.
Principles of God’s Word will supersede the principles of competitive football.
Competition will be governed by the mutual encouragement.
Unity supersedes winning.
Therefore, the mission of Kings Football is to be a team that welcomes all age appropriate students otherwise not provided the opportunity to play public or private school football. It is a team striving to learn and excel in all aspects of the game, in a manner that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. The Kings will grow young disciples in the knowledge of football subject to the larger biblical principals of faith, discipline, competition, and love. For without faith it is impossible to please Him.
Kings Football will be a team disciplined to win the crown, first and foremost, the “incorruptible” of God.
